A penchant for listening, observing and asking the right questions, as well as a deep love for the craft of writing, drew Audrey into the advertising and marketing world. This was something of a departure from her formal training, with a B.S. in Food Science and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering.
Because she was so intrigued by the many ways in which people communicate, Audrey pursued a Master Practitioner's Certificate in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). NLP is the study of neurology, language and programming, three highly influential components that produce the human experience and determine the models we create to make sense of the world around us.
Audrey sees the strategies that NLP teaches to be in perfect alignment with Brandtrust's Emotional Inquiry methodology. She uses hypnotic language patterns and other techniques to maintain the physical and mental states of relaxation necessary in the interview room. Her ability to pick up subtle cues through careful attention to verbal and non-verbal signals creates rapport and trust with respondents, and also allows Audrey to apply her razor-sharp analysis to their answers. Audrey has performed hundreds of one-on-one interviews across the country for various Brandtrust clients including Kraft, Hewlett-Packard, Harley-Davidson and BEHR Paints.
Through her business, Audrey also serves the freelance copywriting needs of various advertising agencies and business-to-business organizations. When she's not researching or writing, Audrey enjoys drinking endless cups of tea in the garden with her husband and her beloved Olde English Bulldogges.
